 As we are able to see in Wiltrud Griess' statements, she got contact with the fellowship, "Smith's Friends" as a result of being with Dr. Koller's family.
Here we must underline the fact that at that time a very friendly relationship existed between the Griess and Koller families. In addition, we would like to call attention to the fact that the acquaintanceship between Wiltrud Griess and Peter Koller was based on a purely friendly and comradery basis, just as is common among students at a university.
Both Dr. Peter Koller and Wiltrud Griess testify with credibility and in mutual agreement that there never even had been a fraction of a thought of having a sexual relationship (even if that would have been normal, and natural, and nothing wrong with it). In truth, they were never in love with one another. It was only later that the Griess parents made up a wild "love-story" out of this student-relationship, which on one hand reflects their secret wishful-thinking at that time, and which on the other hand, has served all these years as a pretext for Mr. Griess to place "Smith's Friends" (totally unjustly) in the category of a "dangerous sect and cult" in which presumedly "flirty-fishing" was used to recruit new members.
As shocking and unbelievable as this truth may sound: Right here lies one of the main motives for Mr. D.I. Griess' campaign of vengeance against the "Norwegians"!
All of the people involved at that time agree to the same thing (and there is even written evidence with clear statements and insinuations): The Griess parents simply had hoped for a "good catch", as the saying goes, between their daughter and the Doctor's son!
Thereafter, the Griess parents allow their mask to fall, which in the beginning was friendly, and they begin to pour out all their hatred upon Family Koller, and later, upon "Smith's Friends".
But it was without success. Both the report on Dr. Alexander Koller to the Medical Academy and the wrongful accusations against his son, Dr. Peter Koller, come to nought.
The father is cleared of the charges, and with regard to his son, Mr. Griess is obliged before the Commercial Court in Vienna on Dec. 3, 1996 (legal preceedings 17C g 15/96d):
"to immediately cease claiming that the 5th Plaintiff (Dr. Peter Koller) recruited for the "Norwegians" the daughter of the 2nd defendant (Mr. Griess) and the 3rd defendant (Mrs. Griess), as well as other girls, by means of "flirty-fishing".
But again, Mr. Griess, by no means, abides by the injunctions placed upon him by the court, nor by his own honorable promises - not in this case, either!
On his Norwegian homepage, Mr. Griess recently tells the horror story about "Wiltrud and the evil sect", and - despite his own distinct promise - he accuses Dr. Peter Koller, naming him by his full name , of seducing both Wiltrud Griess and several other young girls in order to win them for "Smith's Friends". Instead of using the term "flirty fishing", he now uses the term "fish-tour", and brings an accusation (using slightly different terminology - the content being of the very same defamatory allegations) against Dr. Peter Koller as before.
The visitor of this homepage can decide for himself what to think about the seriousness and credibility of such a man.
