Apart from the advice and the commandments found in the Bible, we have neither rules nor regulations in our fellowship. We completely reject meddling in the details of the individual members' affairs, or putting pressure on one another. If someone among us begins ruling over others, he's quickly put in his place and he loses both his position and the confidence (that was placed in him). Everyone has the absolute right, as well as the freedom, to act according to his conscience.und das Vertrauen verlieren. Jeder hat absolut das Recht und die Freiheit, nach seinem Gewissen zu handeln.
Therefore, nothing is forbidden among us, that is, we have no teaching regarding alcohol, food (meat), Saturday or Sunday as a day of rest, child-training, the position of the woman in the home or in a profession, etc. The individual has to decide for himself, according to the freedom that is given us in Christ, in all of these matters (Galatians 2:4).
Apart from that, we have no regulations with regard to independence in cultural and artistic matters, or the use of media, technical achievements and modern communication means (TV, computer, video, Internet, etc.). Many of us make use of these means, both professionally as well as privately, whereby, one usually tries to have a sense of responsibility in using all these modern acquisitions, being aware that, on the one side, they are of great value, but (with misuse) they can also be destructive.
