Wiltrud Griess replies to her father |
Dear Daddy!
I'm very sorry that you have become obsessed with defaming our fellowship, and, in your fantasies, you have increasingly departed from the truth.
I had to battle intensely in order to set myself free from my emotional dependency upon you. I have never had such a dependency upon any person within our fellowship. I have the impression that you, like many parents, just weren't able to "let go of me", and you have apparently also never accepted the fact that I am going my own way, and have my own circle of friends (although I came of age a long time ago, and am now 37 years old).
I see this way as the culmination of my search for God, having been disappointed by friends and having had difficulties with my professional training. Faith has given me a personal support which I did not have before.
In the following three official documents, I would like to bring out the truth about my life, and the truth regarding my contact with our fellowship. Because I have often been confronted with these lies that you have circulated, I see no other choice than to tell the whole truth, including matters which are actually family affairs, that you have consciously been keeping hidden and have distorted.
Your daughter Wiltrud
