We believe that it is possible, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to be victorious over everything that we know is sin, that is, over everything that the Bible calls «works of the flesh», and what everyone normally looks upon as sin.

We believe in the Word written in Hebrews 2:18 which says that Jesus can come to the assistance of someone who is tempted, for this very reason, that He, Himself, was tempted . Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit while He was in His mother’s womb, and by this power he was able to be victorious. This includes the fact that He would have been able to sin, if He had only been a little disobedient to the Holy Spirit. The kind of battle and the sufferings that cost Him, never to sin, we can see in Hebrews 5:7: «Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death,and was heard in that he feared.» If we are willing to obey the Holy Spirit, we also will be able to be victorious in all temptations.
